Look! It's me in my first-ever shows
with my lady at Hatboro, Devon, and Montgomery.

Something's happening here. Dogs are getting spiffy'd-up, myself included
(that's me in front).
Bobby and Vicki are making us pretty for the first day of the Hatboro show. My
lady was sent away while my coat was styled and she looked so confused. Don't
worry, lady. I remember these folks and I'm in good hands.
Come back to see my lady walking me around the grass
at our first show at Hatboro. In the meantime . . .

Here I am at another dog show. That's me! The puppy
on the grass. I'm at Hatboro (Day 2) in Wrightstown, Pennsylvania. There's my
sister, Lauren, on the table.
Where's my lady? you ask. Well, she bailed on me to take these pictures.

Here I am with Chris, still at Hatboro. Look at the crowd.
They've all come to see me, me, me . . . haven't they?

OK, hang on. Chris wants me to walk beside him, and I can
do it. What do you suppose Chris has in his pocket?

Here's a photo of that nice man in the suit who enjoys
looking at Lakies. There I am on the table. Chris, I promise I'll try not
to sit down. Hey mister, turn around and look at me.

My lady isn't all that smart. She obviously can't use a
camera. That nice man is finally looking at me -- I'm behind that man in the tan
jacket and I'm walking with Chris. Here's Lauren on the right doing her little
I'm-a-perfect-princess routine. Yo, Lauren! Who's being looked at?!

This nice gentleman on the right wanted to see just me and
Chris, so we paused momentarily. I wasn't introduced to the man and I'm not sure
why he wanted to see me stand there. Someone probably told him that I was new in
town.

At the end of our time in the ring we all walk around
waiting for that nice man to point at us. This seems rather silly, but it sure
was a pretty day for walking in a circle. It's hard to get lost walking in a
circle . . . even in Pennsylvania. See the nice man pointing toward Lauren?

Finally, that lady gets a shot of my face. Is that really me?

Woo woo! I'm on a roll . . . walking around with Chris. I like
Chris and I can tell that he's done this walk-on-the-grass-thing a time or two.
We're getting ready to get my ribbon.

There's my waggin' puppy tail. Hatboro, Day 2, is over.
What's next? Bring it on!

These are photos from my third show.
We're at Devon in Ludwigs Corner:

Look! It's my lady . . . in the rain . . . pretending she
knows what she's doing. I'm telling her to be calm, despite the fact that I'm
about to Hurry Up right here in the show ring. There's M. J. Cohen in the
cap with his puppy . . . he knows my pal, Gracie the Lakie.

Here we are: me, my lady, and the other
puppies at Devon. There's Lauren behind me. Hey Lauren, what are you looking
at over there?

OK, this is it: my big day at
Montgomery, Sunday 5 October 2003. First came Puppy Sweeps, which had nothing to
do with my ability with a broom.

She put me on the table and I stood the
entire time. She was supposed to show-off my tail, but I had to eventually do it
myself. See my comb? Lady, you'd be wise to leave my comb right there on your
sleeve.

Here are some of the gals from Puppy
Sweeps. That's me on the right, and Lauren on the left.

Here I am in front of the number 3. That
means that we're almost done and I get to play with Tanner. See how experienced
I am? When you stand by a number, it's almost play-time.

My lady is an idiot trying to take photos into the sun (Opps.
Did I say that?). There I am in Puppy Class at Montgomery. I'm the third
from the right, and believe it or not this is a photo of some puppies.
Not much better, lady; but you can sort of see a puppy. Here I am stopping to
meet some new man. No, I am not nervous. All my new friends are behind me in the
tent . . . and some old friends too, including young Tanner.

Look at me go. That man is watching me and Chris. Whose
tail is that? Is that my puppy tail? You probably can't tell from this
photo, but my lady is very proud (she's a N-U-T!).

On the way home to Dallas I came out of my bag and looked out
the window. Flying is a bizarre mode of travel, don't you think?
Well I was a tad rambunctious so I had a
gin and tonic. Then I sat nicely, like the good terrier that I am.

Finally, I dozed off with Pink Pig. Me and my
pig are going home to my man and to Meg. I am one sleepy-but-happy terrier.
