Meet the Parents
On Saturday, 28 September 2002, my humans met my parents. I wasn't even a gleam in daddy's eye.
All of us are a good-looking lot.
This is my Papa. Best teeth on any terrier, anywhere. Pop is from Scotland, where ever that is. Oh yeah, I know I'm special.

It's pop, Ch. Auchenhove The Navigator "Michael" navigating the terrain around his pool. Hey, I thought they said dad was a red dog. Read on . . . .

There he is. Michael, The Navigator, in a nice stack and looking rather refined.  Hey, he is red.

Mommy! Ch. Herrington High Flyer "U2." In 2002 she was ranked by the AKC as the Number 10 Lakeland bitch in United States. What a smile . . . and what a wet beard.  I get my love of water bowls from my mommy.

Here's mom during one of her many Best of Breed wins -- this one at the tender age of ten months.

Will I ever live-up to the noble reputation of my ancestors? Check-out my grandparents.  There are links on the photos to their breeders.  No, you won't find another Lakeland Terrier like me.

Now who's this? It's mommy's dad [U2's papa]: my grandfather.  The humans say maternal grandfather.  It's Sherman, Ch. Snowtaire Heirloom Five Star. Click on his picture and visit Snowtaire's web site.

And here's U2's mom, my grandmother Gidget, the beautiful black girl known as Ch. Herrington Canadian Mist. She was one of less-than-ten black or blue Lakelands to win an American championship since the Lakeland breed was recognized by the AKC in 1934. You go, girl!

And here's my pop's mother (this is very confusing to me, even with my smart dog brain). It's The Navigator's (yep, Michael's) mum: Auchenhove Irish Eyes. Irish loves everyone and everything on this earth, especially food. She lives abroad in Scotland. Click on her photo to visit Auchenhove's web site.  Maybe one day I'll get to visit.

It's Michael's papa, Ch. Auchenhove Last Action Hero "Arnie,"  boss of the kennel. You can clearly see where we get our good looks. Arnie lives in Scotland with Nicky.
